Wakmann Regate Automatic Chronograph Calendar Watch
Insanely Colorful
This particular model by Wakmann is named the Regate. It is known for it’s colorful or “rainbow” scheme. Collectors of vintage Breitling recognize the name Wakmann as the importer of Breitling in the United States prior to the 1980s.
Case measures 44mm, and is perfectly sized for modern tastes. You’ll find examples in base metal plated and (rarer) all stainless steel like this example shown. Powering this watch is a Lemania cal. 1341 movement with central chrono seconds and minutes, as well as a 12 hour counter at 6:00.
